How to Replace the Fan Resistor on an Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Heater control valve

Before you begin, it is highly recommended to disconnect the battery to work safely on the electrical system. Start by removing the glove compartment. Once the glove compartment is removed, you will notice the resistor. To remove it, press on the two side clips and then pull it out of its housing. At this point, simply disconnect the connectors attached to it. This completes the removal. To install the new resistor, simply follow the steps in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
