How to replace the fan resistor on an Opel Astra. This guide shows you how to carry out the disassembly. Remove the plastic panel in the dashboard using a lever (remove the securing screws of the glove compartment), then unscrew the cover where the resistor is located with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector of the resistor, then remove it from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble the glove compartment and tighten the screws. Check the correct assembly of the previously installed parts and test their proper functioning.
