Start by peeling off the plastic underneath the gearbox. To do this, use a small flat screwdriver or a plastic lever and pry the joint line, working all around the gearbox itself. Proceed slowly and not breaking the plastic joints. Once you have managed to lift it, unplug the connector below. Detach the knob by simply pulling it upwards with force, and finally you can also remove the cap, by pulling it off. Insert the new headphones, connect the connector and fit it correctly in the appropriate spaces. Put the knob back by applying pressure.
