Replacing the Gear Knob and Gaiter on an Opel Insignia

Model: Vauxhall Insigna Insigna A, MK 1 - Years 2008-2017

Start by detaching the plastic underneath the gear lever. To do this, use a small flat screwdriver or a plastic lever and pry along the joint line, working all around the gear lever itself. Proceed slowly and avoid breaking the plastic clips. Once you manage to lift it, disconnect the underlying connector. Remove the gear knob by pulling it upwards with force, and then you can also remove the gaiter by sliding it off. Insert the new gaiter, connect the connector, and clip it securely into the designated spaces. Refit the gear knob by applying pressure.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Suzuki Jimny, first inflate the tyres to the pressure value indicated on the corresponding sticker: this is located at the bottom of the driver's door pillar.
