Replacing Number Plate Lights on an Opel Astra

Replacing the number plate lights is very simple: locate the two lights above the number plate and use a flat-head screwdriver to pry at the right junction line. This will release it from its housing.

Repeat the operation on both lights, then slightly unscrew the connector, which will come out of the housing along with the bulb. Pull the bulb out of the connector simply by tugging, and insert the new one you have purchased.

Ensure you have bought a bulb with the same fitting as the old one and of suitable size for the light.
