Replacing the Climate Control Buttons on an Opel Astra J

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016

First, remove the panel between the gear lever and the climate control buttons. Then lift the gear lever gaiter and unscrew the screws that are now exposed and secure the plastic that frames the gear lever and the entire central dashboard (it is all one piece). At this point, you will have freed the screws around the central dashboard that secure it. Remove the dashboard and, to dismantle the climate control area, access from the back by removing the housing that contains them. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new controls, first mounting them onto the rest of the central dashboard plastic and then reassembling everything.
