Replacing the Key Battery

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa B - Years 1993-2000

In this short tutorial, you will replace the ignition key battery for an Opel Corsa. First, separate the blade from the key fob. Use the tip of a flathead screwdriver to pry at the indicated point in the video and separate the two parts. The piece without the blade contains the battery. To open it, use the same screwdriver to separate the two pieces of the battery holder. With the screwdriver, lift and remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, then reassemble everything as it was.
