When replacing the turbocharger, in addition to the usual installation instructions, it is advisable to carry out the following tasks: Replace the oil inlet pipe, remove the sump, and check the proper cleaning of the pickup, as well as remove any carbon deposits. Check that there are no traces of oil in the intercooler and inspect the exhaust manifolds if oil had previously passed through the turbocharger. Also, replace the oil filter and check for any burns on the injector seals. Furthermore, verify the correct oil flow.
