Replacement of Front Suspension Wishbone

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

Damage to the ball joint or the silent blocks of the front suspension wishbone causes noise, especially when driving on uneven surfaces. To replace it, lift the vehicle and secure it on a jack stand, then remove the front wheel. Remove the bolt that secures the ball joint of the suspension wishbone to the hub and use a lever to extract it. Next, remove the bolts that fix the wishbone to the engine cradle (one at the front and one at the rear) and extract it from its seat. Then, proceed in reverse to install a new wishbone complete with ball joint.
