Vauxhall Astra - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Arm
Operation: Front suspension swing arm replacement

Damage to the head or to the silent bloks of the swinging arm of the front suspension generates noise especially when running on rough terrain. To be able to replace it, lift the car securing it on a stand and remove the front wheel; remove the pin that fixes the head of the oscillating arm of the suspension to the hub and use a lever to extract it; then disassemble the pins that fix the swinging arm to the engine cradle (one front and one rear) and extract it from its seat; therefore proceed backwards to install a new oscillating arm complete with head.
