How to Reset the Oil Warning Light on the Opel Astra

To reset the engine oil warning light, no mechanical experience is required, and you can perform the task directly from the controls. First, turn on the ignition. Then, enter the menu by pressing the appropriate button on the left-hand side of the steering column. Navigate until you find the "vehicle information menu" and then enter "remaining oil life". At this point, press the Set/Clear button located at the end of the left-hand lever and confirm when prompted. The reset is now complete.
