Replacing the Rocker Cover Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the rocker cover, it is essential to thoroughly clean the gasket seating on both the cover and cylinder head sides to remove any dirt or deposits that could compromise the gasket's adhesion and sealing. Once cleaning is complete, insert the new gasket into the groove along the edges of the cover, ensuring it adheres perfectly; then apply gasket sealant only at the junction points of the block, where the timing chain pulleys are located, and refit the cover by tightening the respective fixing pins.
