How to Remove the Front Seat from an Opel Astra?

To remove the front seat from an Opel Astra, first remove the plastic cover on the side corresponding to the seat recline knob: here you will find a bolt that needs to be loosened and then removed. Next, push the seat forward to loosen the bolts securing the sliding rails at the rear. This way, the seat can be freed by sliding it off the front clips and disconnecting the connectors. Once the old seat is removed, you can replace it with a new one.
