Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

Whenever you disassemble a mechanical component that has an oil seal or gasket, it is good practice to replace it during reassembly. Before inserting the new oil seal, ensure that the respective seat is perfectly clean and free from signs of corrosion that could compromise the seal's adhesion and integrity. Lubricate both the oil seal seat and the oil seal itself with clean oil, insert it into its seat, pushing it in until it is fully seated with the appropriate installation tool. Finally, proceed to install the toothed pulley.
