Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

When assembling an engine, it is always advisable to use a new set of gaskets and oil seals, as you cannot be certain that the original seals are intact after disassembly. In this regard, there is a so-called gasket kit available that includes everything you need. For the installation of the new camshaft oil seal, ensure that you have thoroughly cleaned the oil seal seating, lubricate the seating and the new oil seal with clean oil, and insert it with the lip facing inward, pushing it in until it is fully seated with the appropriate tool. After that, you can install the toothed pulley, align the timing marks, and install the timing belt.
