In this video we can see where the cabin filter is located in the Opel Astra G and how to proceed if we need to replace it, a very simple and fast operation. As shown, the filter is located just behind the glove box on the passenger side. To access it and subsequently replace it, first empty the drawer, then remove the screws located underneath it and inside it with a Torx T20 key. We then disconnect the courtesy light, open the filter housing with a 7mm wrench and extract the latter. To put everything back together, simply follow the reverse procedure.
