If you have noticed the engine warning light coming on in your vehicle, to reset it, you can follow the classic method that involves using an OBD system connected to the vehicle's diagnostic port, which allows you to clear the error. Alternatively, you can use another method that does not require the OBD. Here’s how to proceed: the first thing to do is open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, leaving it disconnected for at least 20 minutes.

Then reconnect the terminal and turn the ignition back on, and the light will have turned off. The only additional task will be to reprogram the date and time because disconnecting the battery will have reset them.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value.
