How to Change the Engine Oil of an Opel Zafira Tourer 2.0 TDCI

Learn how to change the oil in an Opel Zafira Tourer 2.0 TDCI. First, raise the vehicle slightly to gain easy access underneath. Use axle stands for safety. Open the oil filler cap on top to allow proper drainage. Get a large bowl to collect the used oil, starting with the oil filter, which you will unscrew and let drain into the bowl. When replacing the oil filter, remember to also replace the O-ring seal. Drain the oil from the sump, and keep in mind that when changing the oil, it's advisable to replace the sump plug to avoid future surprises. Now fill the reservoir with oil: this engine requires 4 litres of SAE 5W30 oil (or 10W40, depending on your location).
