If the carpet on the driver's side is completely soaked with water, it indicates a problem with infiltration caused by the failure of the seal located under the brake booster: it will be necessary to remove the brake booster to restore the seal; start by removing the wiper blades, then remove the underlying plastic, the wiper mechanism, and the brake fluid reservoir; then proceed to remove the brake booster by detaching the master cylinder and then the retaining pins, which require access from the cabin; once the brake booster is removed, clean the seat thoroughly and apply sealant before reassembling in reverse order.
