First, wait until the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet and unscrew the cap of the expansion tank. Next, lift the front of the vehicle, connect a hose to the drain tap, and open it to allow all the fluid in the system to drain out. Once done, close the tap and add the necessary amount of fluid to reach the ideal level, which is indicated on the tank itself.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
