In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the oil service indicated by the message "code 82" on the Opel Astra J, a very simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks.

Start by inserting the key and turning on the instrument cluster, then press the "MENU" button located on the left control stalk. Scroll through the various screens using the rotary dial, reach the screen displaying the word "Reset" and hold down the "SET/CLR" button.

To verify that the reset was successful, restart the vehicle.
