Replacement of Front Brake Discs and Pads

Model: Vauxhall Vectra Vectra B, MK 2 - Years 1995-2002

Necessary tools for the operation include: torque wrench, ratchet wrench, Allen key, hammer, wire brush, and pliers. Remove the retaining springs from the brake cover and, using a ratchet wrench, completely remove the bolts. Remove the brake shoes and pads. Remove the brake shoe supports. Using the Allen key, remove the screws from the disc and the disc itself. Clean the support thoroughly with a wire brush and install the new disc. Tighten the fixing screws securely. Refit the brake shoe supports using the torque wrench. Install the new pads and shoes. Reposition the cover springs and tighten the bolts. Reattach the clips to the brake pipe. Ensure that the pads contact the disc.
