How to Change the Front Headlamp Bulb of the Opel Astra H

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

To replace the front headlamp bulb, do not access the headlamp through the engine bay but from underneath the wheel arch: turn the steering wheel so that the wheel is fully inside the wheel arch, obviously on the side of the headlamp that needs the bulb replaced. At this point, remove a rectangular cover located at the height of the headlamp housing, then take off the rubber cap behind the bulb holder and disconnect the holder to extract the old bulb (H7 fitting) and insert the new one, reconnecting everything to the headlamp and repositioning the rubber cap and the plastic cover of the wheel arch.
