How to Replace the Timing Belt on an Opel Insignia

Today, you will learn how to remove the timing belt on an Opel Insignia. Lift the car on a ramp and remove the front wheel using a screwdriver, then take off the wheel arch liner. Remove the timing belt cover, use a socket to loosen the tensioner pulley, and slide the belt out of its seat. With a socket, unscrew the locking pin of the pulley. After removing the belt, proceed to fit the new belt. Place the new belt on the pulley and tighten it, securing the tensioner and the pulley pin. Finish by refitting the wheel arch liner and the front wheel, lowering the car back to the ground.
