In this guide we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTI. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start disassembling and removing the engine support; then we remove the alternator belt, loosening the tensioner; we lift the car and remove the crankshaft pulley, then remove the distribution cover, as shown in the video. At this point, we take the necessary references for the replacement of the belt, installing the original one.
