How do you replace the timing chain of the Opel Insignia 1.6 CDTi?

It will be possible to replace the timing chain of the Opel Insignia 1.6 CDTi by loosening the screws that secure the front right wheel of the car: this wheel can then be removed so that the inner wheel arch panel can be detached. At this point, it will be possible to loosen the screws that secure the chain tensioner in order to remove it completely: the tension of the chain will be reduced and it will be possible to remove it from the sprockets. The new chain can now be inserted in order to bring it back to the correct tension and verify its operation.
