The manual reset procedure for the service light on the instrument cluster of your Vauxhall Astra G takes just a few seconds to complete correctly. First, get into the car and ensure it is off, then locate the button situated in the lower right corner of the cluster, precisely between the speedometer and the fuel gauge.

Once found, press and hold that button while starting the ignition. Wait a few seconds, and as soon as the display stops flashing, release the button to complete the reset procedure.
