Resetting the service light on the Opel Astra model J can be done independently in a few steps. The steps to follow are a total of 5: -turn on the instrument cluster of the Opel Astra; -press the MENU button located on the left stalk of the steering wheel to access the Settings Menu; -using the scroll wheel with arrow symbols, select the oil warning light symbol; -press the SET/CLR button located on the end of the steering wheel stalk; -select the "Reset" option; Once completed, return to the main Menu and turn off the instrument cluster.
