Replacing the Rear Headlamp Bulbs on the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016

If you notice that one of the rear headlamp bulbs on your Opel Astra has blown, you must replace it as soon as possible for your safety. Open the boot and position yourself in front of the headlamp containing the bulb to be replaced. On the wheel arch lining, you will find a small cover, which allows access to the back of the headlamp. Unscrew the retaining nut by hand. Grip the headlamp body and pull until it disconnects from the pressure pin, then disconnect the connector. Next, unscrew the three fasteners that secure the plate housing the bulbs, rotate it, and replace the blown bulb with a new one. For reassembly, reverse the steps.
