Replacing the battery in the remote key of the Opel Insignia is very simple, especially since you do not need to disassemble the entire key to access the battery compartment, avoiding the risk of damaging the casing or other elements like the mechanical locking mechanism. On the back of the key, there is a square-shaped cover protecting the battery compartment. Open the metal key (commonly referred to as the blade) to leverage the edge of the cover for removal and proceed with replacing the battery.
