Reprogramming the key of the Opel Astra model G, after replacing the battery, is a procedure that can be done in three simple steps. The first step is to insert the key into the ignition switch and only turn on the instrument panel. The second step is to press the vehicle's lock button while the key is still in the ignition switch, for a few seconds. The third step is to release the button and start the car. Now your key will have been reprogrammed, if the problem persists and the car still does not recognize the key, go to a workshop.
