To reset the service light on an Opel Astra model "L", first press the button on the left lever of the steering wheel while simultaneously turning on the ignition. Also, press the brake pedal throughout the operation.

Wait for the countdown to finish before releasing the buttons. Complete the service light reset by turning off the ignition and then turning it on again.

If the reset is unsuccessful, you can perform the operation a second time before going to a garage for assistance.
