In order to replace the ignition switch of the Opel Insignia, you need to use an object to pry and detach the covering panels above and below the steering column. This will allow you to locate and remove the clips that secure the switch. The piece can now be extracted by disconnecting the connectors inside and then connecting the new switch in its place. Now you can cover everything again with the corresponding panel of the steering column, making sure that everything is functioning properly.
