How to disassemble and reassemble the gear knob and shift knob of an Opel Insignia MK1

How to change the leather shift boot, reusing the original knob, on a Opel Insignia MK1 version? We see it in this video. We remove the boot and the knob simply by levering on the clips that are on the outer sides of the frame, and then we take the knob and pull up with force: everything will come off together in one go. We remove the sealing ring that connects the knob to the boot from the inside. Using a plastic spatula, we remove the leather part of the boot from the chrome frame, and then separate the chrome frame from its black base. We can find only the leather boot on E-Bay with the code 303934843512 at the price of 32.99 euros + 13.00 euros for delivery. We will have to glue the leather to the black base and then let it dry well before overlapping the chrome frame. We reassemble the chrome frame. From the inside, we reassemble the sealing o-ring thus connecting the knob to the boot, and we proceed to reassemble everything on the shaft.
