In this video, see how to reset the service light on a Peugeot 508 MK1 version: once you have entered the vehicle and closed all the doors, ensure the ignition is off; press and hold the trip meter reset button. Now turn on the ignition - without starting the engine, just the instrument cluster - and a countdown from ten will appear on the display.

When the display shows "0", release the trip meter button: you will have reset the service light. You can then turn off the instrument cluster.
