How do you reset the BSI unit of the Peugeot 207?

In order to reset the BSI unit of the Peugeot 207, it is necessary to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port can be found on the lower left side of the dashboard, next to the steering column. Once the tool is connected to the port, it will be possible to select the model of the car and its corresponding version, allowing the BSI unit to be reset completely. After the reset, the scanner can be disconnected and it should be checked that no other errors are displayed on the instrument panel.
