To reset the onboard computer of the Peugeot 206, you need to press and hold the accelerator pedal while the instrument panel is turned off. By continuing to hold it down, you can turn the key to position two and hold it there for about ten seconds. After this time, you can release the pedal and turn the key again: you will now need to wait about twenty seconds and then turn the instrument panel back on. By doing this, you will notice that the settings of the onboard computer have been restored and now the instrument panel can be turned off permanently.
