In this video, we see how to deactivate the handbrake on the Peugeot 5008: this is an operation that can be useful in particularly cold weather conditions, or when towing the vehicle, or when we need to do maintenance on the brakes. We press and hold the handbrake button for a period ranging from a minimum of 10 seconds to a maximum of 15. To reactivate it, we will instead press the button for two seconds and simultaneously press the brake pedal. At this point, a yellow warning light will illuminate on the dashboard to indicate the reactivation of the handbrake.
