Let's see how to deactivate the electronic handbrake in order to make the necessary repairs on the rear brakes of the Peugeot 5008 version II: this operation is necessary even just to change the brake pads. Let's start the car without pressing the brake pedal, and then press the handbrake button for about 10/15 seconds.

At this point, we will instead have to press the brake pedal all the way down for three seconds, and as we can see the handbrake has been deactivated; we should also hear the sound of the calipers loosening. To reactivate it, we will have to repeat the entire sequence.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
