How do you reset the Service light on the Peugeot 2008?

The Service indicator shown on the Peugeot 2008 instrument panel can be completely reset by repeatedly pressing the button on the lever to the left of the steering wheel: when the maintenance message appears, you can hold down the button and turn the ignition key. This will start a countdown from ten: you must continue to hold down the button throughout the countdown. When the countdown is complete, you can release the button to see that the Service indicator has disappeared, then turn off the instrument panel.
