In this video we can see how to replace the handbrake button on a Peugeot 3008, where the button itself is not working and the brake light is flashing continuously. We can find the replacement button for example on Amazon with the code B09B2LMDQ9 at the price of 29.90 euros, free delivery. First of all, we need to remove the frame around the gear lever, which also frames the handbrake button: we will need to lever around the button with a small screwdriver, pressing on the four tabs around it, in order to remove it from its seat. Disconnect the electrical connector and place the new one in its place, locking it in place. We will need to turn the ignition on and off a couple of times before the car identifies and recognizes the new button. Once it has been recognized, we can put the finishing frame back around the gear lever and handbrake. Operation completed.
