Today, you will learn how to disable the electric handbrake on a 2023 Peugeot 3008 with the gear in neutral. To perform this operation, with the vehicle on, keep your foot on the brake and deactivate the handbrake by pressing it down without releasing it. Continue to hold your foot on the brake pedal while pressing the handbrake button.

Shift the gear into P. Turn off the vehicle and remove your foot from the brake pedal. Continue to hold the handbrake button while starting the vehicle by pressing the START button, then move the gear lever forward with a press and finally turn off the ignition by pressing the START button.
