Let's see how to deactivate the Start & Stop function on the Peugeot 408, so that the function remains deactivated even at the next start of the vehicle. In this case, the driver also wants to deactivate the lane keeping assist function. We go to the control panel located below the multimedia screen, and press the button that depicts a car; then on the right side of the screen, we highlight the word "functions", and on the left side, various submenus for driver assistance will open. In this case, the driver has chosen the lane keeping assist warning and the start/stop function, by checking them. The screen shows that they are active, and with the previously used button, we deactivate both of them, and that's it.
