Let’s see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Peugeot 208. First, slightly pull the tensioner pulley to loosen the belt and remove it, then return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. Check that the pulleys are still in good condition before fitting the new belt.

Ensure that the belt adheres properly to all the gears; if not, adjust it along the gears. To fit it perfectly, you may need help from the tensioner.

Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position so you can start the engine.
