Peugeot 208 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 208 MK 1, A9 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Timing belt
Operation: When to replace the timing belt on the Peugeot 208?

The timing belt synchronizes the operation of the crankshaft with the camshaft (which regulates the movement of valves and pistons) and, in some cases, also the operation of the water pump which has the task of cooling the engine. Belt breakage is almost always the cause of serious damage to the engine of our car as it can cause breakage of pistons, valves and even the crankshaft. On average, the timing belt on a Peugeot 208 should be changed every 160,000 km or every 7 years. However, the recommendations in the service booklet for replacing the timing belt on a Peugeot 208 can vary significantly from one model version to another.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
