Model: Peugeot 208
A9, MK 1
- Years 2012-2019 In this video tutorial you can see how it is possible to replace the Peugeot 208's timing belt. First you have to lift the bonnet and secure it with a special rod. You have to pull aside the V-belt tensioner pulley, then you have to use the 12-point socket No. 13; now you have to remove the V-belt. Now you have to return the tension pulley to its initial position. Check the condition of the belt and pulley and replace them if necessary. Now proceed to install the new V-belt and make sure the belt is properly positioned. Place the V-belt on the pulley and return the pulley to its starting position.
