How to repair the rear light connector of the Peugeot 308

In this video, we see a rather common problem with Peugeots, namely the overload of voltage on the connectors of the rear lights. The YouTuber will show us how to fix the ground wire issue. We will need a digital display voltmeter, an electric drill, a soldering iron, and other small electrical accessories described in the video. We will put electrical terminals at the ends of a cable about 30 cm long; when the cable is ready, we access the headlight from the inside of the vehicle by removing the carpet and unscrewing the two large plastic screws that allow the headlight to be released from the outside. Here we find the connector we are interested in, from which we will cut the yellow/green ground wire and replace it with the one we prepared. We can observe the same problem on the corresponding pin on the other side. We will then make a hole in the plate and attach the pin with the hole using a small screw. We can then put the headlight back in its place.
