How to replace the diesel filter on a Peugeot Boxer

Let's see how to replace the diesel filter on the Peugeot Boxer: open the hood; the diesel filter is cylindrical, similar to a can, and is located in the engine area, as clearly shown in the video. Position a container under the filter to collect the diesel that will come out, then using a filter wrench, unscrew the filter counterclockwise, and finish unscrewing it by hand; the filter is full of diesel, so handle it carefully. Take the new filter, which should come with a new gasket. Fill the filter with clean diesel, which will make starting the engine quicker. We will apply a light layer of clean diesel on the O-ring to lubricate it. Give it 3/4 of a turn and tighten. If our vehicle has a manual priming pump, press it until we feel some resistance, indicating that the system is pressurized; if it doesn't have one, it may be necessary to start the engine several times to circulate the diesel and expel the air.
