Let's see in this video how to check the levels of a Peugeot 207 petrol: the vehicle must be turned off and on the ground. Let's start by checking the oil level by pulling out the dipstick. Clean it and then put it back in place. Pull it out again and then check it again: the level should be just below "max." If it is lower, we need to top up the oil from the cap located nearby, adding a small amount of oil, as indicated in the user and maintenance manual or on the sticker found on the driver’s door pillar. After each top-up, it must be checked again, because the level must never exceed "max." Next, let's check the coolant: this should also be just below the "max" level; if necessary, add more fluid of the same color as that present in the tank. Now let's check the brake fluid: this fluid should not theoretically be consumed, so if it is below the maximum level, it means that the pads or discs are wearing out. We top up the level and schedule a visit to the mechanic. Now let's add windshield washer fluid to the appropriate tank: never use tap water as it would clog the pipes and damage the windshield.
