In this video, we will see how to solve a rather common problem with this version of the Peugeot 3008: the mirror opened too far, exceeding the stop and causing the glass to hit something. The glass was removed, marking the wires, and a T15 key was used to unscrew the screws and internal cover. The electrical connector was disconnected, and the rear cover was removed. The spring of the stop was worn (the lubrication grease had dried out), causing the excess movement. Two small nails were inserted into the mechanism to create a new stop, limiting the opening and preventing the glass from hitting. The problem has been resolved.
