How to Replace the Engine Oil and Filter on a Peugeot 2008

To change the engine oil and filter on a Peugeot 2008, warm up the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off and place the vehicle on a stable surface. Safely lift the car and position a drain pan under the oil sump. Unscrew the drain plug and allow the old lubricant to fully drain out, then replace it, using a new sealing washer if necessary. Remove the old oil filter with the specific tool and fit the new one after applying a thin layer of oil to the gasket. At this point, pour the new oil through the filler neck, adhering to the quantity specified by the manufacturer, check the level with the dipstick, and start the engine for a few seconds. Finally, check for leaks from the filter or drain plug, wait a few minutes, and recheck the level, topping up if necessary.
