Repairing the Door Wiring on a Peugeot 306

The door wiring on the Peugeot 306 has become damaged due to use, and the constant opening and closing of the doors has damaged the wiring, severing some wires, even though they are protected by the rubber flexible conduit they are contained within. To carry out the repair, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then disconnect the door connector and remove the flexible sheath. Cut the broken wires cleanly (but not all at the same height) and strip about 1 cm of insulation from each end. Insert the two ends of the wire into the connector with heat-shrink tubing and heat the tubing with a heat gun until it shrinks and the internal adhesive seals.
